Suzlon to set up 150 MW wind farm
Suzlon to set up 150 MW wind farm Suzlon Energy, an integrated wind power company, secured a major order from DLF for setting up of a wind farm of 150 MW wind turbine capacity in the State of Gujarat. The order comprising of 100 units of Suzlon`s S82-1.5 MW turbines will be installed by March 2008.

Suzlon Energy operations include manufacturing, designing, developing and selling of wind turbine generators (WTGs) and gear box. Its other operation s include sale/sub-lease of land, infrastructure development income and power generation income. The company`s main manufacturing plants are located at Daman, Pondicherry, Bhuj, Chhadvel (Dhule) and Vadodara.
Shares of the company gained Rs 59.85, or 4.06%, to trade at Rs 1,534.10. The total volume of shares traded was 174,336 at the BSE. (1.08 p.m., Wednesday)
