Refex Refrigerants registers Rs 36.05 mn profit in Sep` 07 Qtr
Refex Refrigerants registered a net profit of Rs 36.05 million for the quarter ended September 2007. Net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 239.51 million, and the total income for the quarter stood at 239.71 million.
Earning per share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs 3.04 for the quarter ended September 2007.
The company is engaged in the business of refilling and marketing non ozone depleting refrigerant gases popularly known as `HydrofluoroCarbons` or HFCs, which are used in auto air-conditioners, room air-conditioners, refrigerators and refrigerating equipments. As a part of their ambitious expansion drive, Refex forayed into refilling of HFC refrigerants that are eco-friendly by nature.
Shares of the company closed up Rs 1.40, or 2.09%, at Rs 68.45. The total volume of shares traded at theBSE was 778,750.(Friday).
