Reliance Retail seals deal with Apple for iStores

Reliance Retail, in its first exclusive tie-up with an international brand, has managed to seal an exclusive marketing and distribution deal with Apple for standalone iStores, reports Economic Times.         
           
Reliance Digital will launch its first 2000 sq ft, iStore in Bangalore by the end of October. The company plans to open 10 iStores by end of this calendar year.

iStores will be standalone stores selling Apple products, which include Macintosh computers, iPods and iPhones, once it is launched in India.

Shares of RIL closed down Rs 66.95, or 2.7%, at Rs 2,416.95. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 1,145,128. (Monday)
