Result Analysis: Aban Offshore net rises 2.13 times for Sep `07 Qtr
Aban Offshore announced a phenomenal jump in net profis for the quarter ended in September 2007. During the quarter, the company`s net profit went up 2.13 times to Rs 472.13 million from Rs 221.38 million in the same quarter last year.
Sales for the quarter rose 28.31% to Rs 1,653.41 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.
Operating margins decreased to 36.90% during the quarter compared with the 47.48% in the same quarter last year. Net margins, on the other hand, rose to 25.20% during the quarter from 15.34%.
At the closing price of Rs 4,096.00 on Oct. 11, 2007 at the BSE, the company`s shares were valued at 120.10 times earnings on a trailing twelve month basis.
