Bombay Dyeing partners with Dubai’s Rivoli Group
Clearing the decks for its foray in the Middle East, Bombay Dyeing, one of India’s leading textile players has entered in a partnership with a Dubai-based luxury lifestyle retailer Rivoli Group.
“Rivoli Textiles has been in the textile business for the last 40 years and a tie up with Bombay Dyeing is a natural progression towards growth,” Sunil Chaddha, General Manager, Rivoli Textiles was quoted as saying by the Emirates Today.
The first of the two flagship stores would open by December or early January. The two stores will measure 4,000 square feet each. One will be devoted to bed and bath merchandise, while the other will exclusively stock silk furnishing fabric.
“We will also introduce the shop-in-shop concept across our seven stores for showcasing Bombay Dyeing products,” Chaddha said.
Recently, Dubai International Capital, the international investment arm of Dubai Holding, bought a significant stake in the Rivoli Group.
