Future Capital IPO :Future Capital Pre IPO Placement and Allotment

Former Goldman Sachs executives Atul Kapur and Alok Oberoi will pick up 5.1 per cent stake in Future Capital, the financial services arm of the retail-to-logistics conglomerate Future Group. The company is issuing shares to Mauritius based Peterborough Holdings - an entity controlled by Kapur and Oberoi - for Rs 53.4 crore, reports The Economic Times.
The pre-IPO placement of 3 million shares (of face value Rs 10) has been made at a price of Rs 178 per share. Early this year, Oz Management had picked 9.8 per cent stake in Future Capital, valuing the company at Rs 1,047 crore.
Future Capital, in which Kishore Biyani’s Pantaloon Retail holds a majority stake, recently filed for an IPO. The company is headed by Sameer Sain (also joint promoter), the former head of Goldman Sachs Europe.
