Idea, Cairn to replace MTNL, HPCL on Nifty
The National Stock Exchange on Thursday announced changes in the components of its S&P Nifty 50, CNX 100 and CNX Nifty Junior indices with effect from December 12.
Idea Cellular and Cairn India will replace MTNL and HPCL on NSE’s most popular S&P Nifty 50 index, a circular issued by NSE said here.
Aditya Birla Nuvo, Power Finance Corporation and United Spirits will replace Polaris Software, Bongaigaon Refinery & Petrochemicals and Ingersoll on NSE’s Nifty Junior index.
CNX 100 index would have Idea Cellular, Cairn India, Aditya Birla Nuvo, Power Finance Corporation and United Spirits in place of MTNL, HPCL, Polaris Software, Bongaigaon Refinery & Petrochemicals and Ingersoll.
