Inflation drops to 2.97%
Inflation declined to a five-year low of 2.97% for the week ended October 27 as against 3.02% in the previous week.
Inflation for the corresponding week last year was 5.35%.
The rate of inflation for the week ended September 14 was revised upwards to 3.72% from 3.52% reported earlier.
