Jet Airways : Jet Airways acquires 5 additional A330-200 aircraft
Jet Airways India Ltd has informed that pursuant to The Purchase Agreement signed in October 2005 with Airbus S.A.S. Toulouse, for ten (10) Airbus 330-200 aircraft, the Company has now exercised an “Option” to acquire five (5) additional A330-200 Aircraft scheduled to be delivered to the Company as mentioned below:
Aircraft No 11: October 2009
Aircraft No 12: 3rd Quarter 2010
Aircraft No 13: 3rd Quarter 2010
Aircraft No 14: 1st Quarter 2011
Aircraft No 15: 1st Quarter 2011
These additional aircraft are being acquired in order to maintain and expand the Company’s domestic and international operations.
