Industry tycoon Krishna Kumar Birla died in Kolkata early on Saturday morning. He was 90.

No improvement at Singur plant: Tata Motors

Govt may appoint 3G auctioneer by 1st week of Oct

India will soon see the auction of frequencies for 3G services who enable users to download data at much faster speeds. Department of Telecommunications Secretary, Siddharth Behura told CNBCTV18 that the government could be in a position to appoint a company by September 30 or the first week of October to auction 3G service frequencies.
