Motorola Inc cuts 3,000 jobs
New York, Oct 31: Motorola Inc one of the largest United States mobile phone manufacturer on Thursday, Oct 31 announced its decision to reduce its global workforce by 4.5 per cent or some 3000 employees. The decision came soon after reporting a quarterly net loss of nearly 0 million and said more than two-thirds of the layoffs would be in the handset division.
