i thought the high upsurge is due to reasons like,
- new
- major move to the cyber war
- a mainpage that totally contrasts google’s plain white background
- huge investment, so people might wanna know whats installed
- search results copycat to let google users adapt faster and accept bing quicker
- video/image search is a bomb to porn addicts, eg one kid talking to another kid “hey finding xxxx with bing is so easy”

Too slow — Text often doesn’t show up while typing because of their results as you type feature. Page loads take too long and I lost interest quckly. I read on a blog that image results were better than google, but found their method of loading image results painful and irritating, so I didn’t proceed.
