UniNor GSM has started operations in India . It has received good subscription and has crossed 4 millions subscribers already.

It is the new GSM Service  launched in market. ” UNINOR GSM “ telecom brand was unveiled by Unitech , the real estate company. Its the brand  used for launching GSM Service in India by Unitech Wireless Ltd.

Uninor : Unitech – Telenor JV

Telenor owns 49% stake in Unitech Wireless and the company is waiting for government approval for raising its stake in the JV. Telenor has operations in many Asian Countries and the company is recently involved in a controversy for getting spectrum at throw away prices.

Service Launch

Unitech launched its service first in Tamilnadu ( TN ) , Chennai (Madras) , Andhra Pradesh AP , Karnataka , Kerala KL followed by Mumbai , Delhi , Kolkata , Gujarat , Maharashtra , Uttar Pradesh UP  , Orissa , Bihar , West Bengal WB .
